Westacott Farm Camping is ideal for campers and tourers seeking a peaceful and relaxing setting. Located in Devon, the campsite provides a perfect base for a memorable countryside holiday. Set within a 220-acre farm in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site enjoys stunning views across the water towards Lundy Island and Saunton Sands.

Bay View Field is the original camping field and offers scenic views over the water towards Exmoor. It includes pitches with electric hook-ups for motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Facilities in this area include a wet room with a toilet and hand basin, as well as a smaller room with a toilet and hand basin. The adjacent kitchen is equipped with two sinks, a microwave, kettle and freezer. Laundry facilities are also available, including a washing machine and tumble dryer operated by a coin meter using £1 and 20p coins.

Lundy View is a spacious two-acre field that boasts impressive views across the bay and over Exmoor. This area offers 19 electric hook-ups and a children’s play area. Facilities include an additional toilet and shower unit made up of four separate rooms, each with a shower, toilet, hand basin, hand dryer, hair dryer, shaver point and radiator, along with hot water. The amenities block has recently been upgraded and now includes a new kitchen, an outdoor shower and a chemical disposal point.

Middle Meadow is the site’s non-electric field, where guests can pitch freely and enjoy beautiful countryside and bay views.

For those seeking a more luxurious experience, the site also offers a shepherd’s hut. This unique accommodation is perfect for a romantic getaway and includes a double bed, a cosy wood burner and a kitchen area.

Check-in is from 2.30 pm and departure is before 11.30 am.

Guests can purchase local produce from the reception shop, which sells the farm’s own free-range eggs, meat from the local butcher, ice creams, cold drinks, sweets, chocolates and other essentials. During school holidays, a range of food vendors also visit the site.

There are many attractions nearby, including The Big Sheep, Atlantis Adventure Park, Saunton Sands, Northam Burrows Country Park and Tapeley.
