Enchanted Valley Yurts, Lanreath, Looe, Cornwall
Enchanted Valley Yurts is set within a beautiful valley in the Cornish village of Lanreath and is home to two traditional Mongolian yurts. The site enjoys a peaceful countryside setting while being only a short distance from Looe, a popular holiday destination known for its family-friendly beach.
Pheasant Yurt is the larger of the two and can accommodate up to six guests. It features a king-size bed, two futons and a day bed that can be extended into a double. Inside there is a cosy seating area and a log burner, perfect for keeping warm during the cooler months. Outside, guests can relax on the decking area with seating while enjoying views of the surrounding valley.
Owl Yurt is set in a more secluded spot and sleeps up to five guests, with a double bed, two 3ft futons and an extending day bed. The yurt also features a log burner to keep the space warm and comfortable, while the decking area provides a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. A chiminea offers a wonderful place to gather around during peaceful early evenings.
Both yurts are just a short walk from the shared site facilities, which include a fully fitted kitchen, pizza oven, BBQ, seating and campfire area, shower room and a private toilet for each yurt.
The nearby village offers a shop and Post Office within walking distance, and fresh eggs are available from the farm. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring, with beautiful walking routes as well as opportunities for sailing, windsurfing and horse riding. There are also many popular attractions nearby, including The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Polperro, St Catherine’s Castle and Seaton Valley Countryside Park.
