Pant Y Rhedyn is a peaceful 10-acre smallholding set in the hills of the Conwy Valley, where panoramic views stretch across unspoilt countryside towards the Snowdonia mountain range. Ideally located, it is within easy reach of the popular towns of Llanrwst and Llandudno, while Snowdonia National Park is just a short drive away.
The site offers a range of unique accommodation options. Two spacious domes, each with a 5.8m diameter and high ceilings, provide comfortable stays for up to four guests. Inside, guests can relax while enjoying sweeping countryside views, stunning sunsets and star-filled skies through the large panoramic window, or unwind beside the cosy log fire. Each dome also features its own outdoor campfire area, perfect for enjoying the surrounding landscape.
For those seeking a more traditional camping experience, there are three large and private pitches set amongst wildflowers and meadow. Each pitch includes its own eco compost toilet, campfire pit and picnic bench, offering a peaceful back-to-nature feel with added comfort.
For a truly distinctive stay, Fern, a beautifully converted 1994 Volkswagen horsebox, provides a secluded glamping retreat for two. Set apart from the main site with its own gated entrance, private garden and decking overlooking the alpaca paddock and mountains, it also features a wood-fired hot tub, ideal for relaxing while watching the sunset. Inside, Fern includes a double bed, an optional sofa bed and essential amenities such as a kitchen, shower and toilet, creating a cosy and self-contained space.
While the camping pitches are non-electric, guests have access to a communal area with charging points, a fridge and freezer, washing-up facilities, a small shop, games and local information. Campers can also enjoy a large hot-powered shower.
A highlight of staying at Pant Y Rhedyn is the opportunity to meet the friendly on-site animals, including alpacas, pigs, sheep and hens, all of which are a much-loved part of the experience.
The site operates as a no-car environment, although guests are permitted to drive on-site upon arrival and departure for luggage drop-off and collection.
Located in Trofarth, Conwy, the site is perfectly placed for exploring North Wales. The nearby market town of Llanrwst and the seaside resort of Llandudno offer a variety of attractions, including a Victorian promenade and pier. Snowdonia National Park provides endless opportunities for walking, hiking and scenic drives, while nearby highlights such as Conwy Castle and the historic walled town of Conwy add further interest. The surrounding Conwy Valley also offers tranquil countryside, waterfalls and forest trails.
Domes and camping are available from April to October.
The horsebox is available all year round.
Groups are welcome by arrangement, please enquire for details.
