The Park of Brandedleys is set within 24 acres of countryside near Crocketford in Dumfries and Galloway. Located between Dumfries and Castle Douglas, the park enjoys an elevated position with views across Auchenreoch Loch and the surrounding foothills. It is open throughout the year and welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents. A range of self-catering accommodation is also available.
There are 25 touring caravan and motorhome pitches plus five spacious camping pitches. Every pitch has an electric hook-up. Premier pitches also have a hardstanding and water point. The toilet and shower facilities include a bath.
Self-catering options include two lodges that sleep up to five people and two cottages that sleep between two and four people. Holiday lodges and static caravans are also available to buy.
On-site facilities include an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a games room and a recreation area. Visitors can enjoy the pool, table tennis, air hockey, a games console and children’s board games. Vending machines selling snacks are also available.
The indoor swimming pool offers open swimming between 9 am and 11 am. Sessions are available to book throughout the day after 11 am. Admission costs £3 per child and £5 per adult.
The pet-friendly park is surrounded by places to walk and explore. Dumfries and Galloway has opportunities for golf, fishing, walking, cycling and watersports. Nearby attractions include Mabie Farm Park, Drumlanrig Castle, Caerlaverock Castle, Galloway Forest Park and Dino Park. Local amenities in Crocketford include a grocery shop, newsagent and off-licence. The Galloway Arms Hotel is also nearby.
