The Estate has been visited many times by Royalty, in particular George V who regularly rode with the local hunt. The Royal Family today visit Burghley House close by, famous for Show Jumping and its historic interest. Visitors to the hall come from far afield as Scotland and Wales with an increasing number from overseas. The grounds, only 20 miles from the M1, and 8 miles from the A1, are relatively easy to travel to.

Recent major development to Ranksborough Hall will now be extended to include exclusive holiday lodges for retired people. The park will include a twelve month (all year round) licence, perhaps making this your ideal second home.

A few minutes stroll away, the village of Langham hosts two historic public houses, a post office and a village store. This touring Park is open all year round and is in a secluded area at the rear of our Residential Park Homes. Tall Trees Touring Park can accommodate up to 37 units of either caravans, tents or even motorhomes up to 50ft long. The field reserved for pitches has open farmland on three sides, and the location and utilities have been approved by the Caravan Club. The Park is also open to Caravan Club members on our Caravan Club Certificated Location which has 5 pitches.

There is a brand new Shower and Toilet facility on site including Disabled and Laundrette facilities.

A fully stocked Carp Fishing Lake is located at the rear of the Campsite and is available on a Day Ticket or Seasonal Ticket, see Fishing for more information.

Due to the large grassed area available, and the rough ground adjacent, our site is ideal for those with dogs. There is also room for ball games etc.. as the field is much larger than required for the pitches.

Newquay Airport became the New Home of our Show 'N' Shine for 2012 and we're back for 2013.

SUNDAY 26th MAY 2013, NEWQUAY AIRPORT IS WHERE ITS AT...

In 2012, RttS became the church of the shiny and modified, and we saw a congregation of 30,000 come to worship.

It's a massive part of what RttS is, and whether you've driven down in your pride and joy, you simply like the look of them, or you fancy dropping in for the day, then Sunday is your day...

The UK and Europe's very best know better than to give RttS a miss and, as usual, Volksworld magazine and the National Association of Street Cars will have judges on the lookout for the top ten, who'll be in line for a cash prize and an official RttS title.

Showing, watching or just loving the atmosphere, try and get there early: gates are at eight, but people do love to be right at the front, so you might want to try seven...

It'll cost you £10 to put your first-love on show if you're not wearing a RttS wristband - if you've made a weekend of it and have yourself a festival band we'll only ask for a fiver!

Make sure you arrive early to ensure you get a spot; those that opt for a lie-in instead are usually very disappointed!
