Shepherd’s Huts
Hopgarden's three fully furnished Shepherd’s Huts offer a cosy, stylish glamping experience with all the comforts of home. Each hut includes a double bed, comfortable seating, storage, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a Smart TV/DVD with Wi-Fi access. Added luxuries such as a wood-style electric stove, Bluetooth radio, and USB sockets enhance the experience. Outside, guests can relax on a private patio equipped with loungers, a gas BBQ, bistro seating, and a fire pit—ideal for al fresco dining. Firewood is available as an optional extra. Shared amenities include a fully equipped kitchen hut and high-standard shower and toilet facilities complete with power showers, fluffy towels, toiletries, and essential supplies.
Bell Tents
The site features four spacious 6-metre Bell tents, each comfortably accommodating up to six guests. These tents are thoughtfully furnished with fresh bedding, duvets, fleece throws, and hot water bottles. Inside, there is electric lighting, a radio, and two USB ports for device charging. Private hot water shower huts and individual toilet units are conveniently located behind each tent (guests should bring their own towels and toiletries). Each tent also has its own outdoor area with dining tables, comfortable seating, and a firepit BBQ. Cooking facilities, housed in charmingly converted horse boxes, include hobs, fridges, microwaves, kettles, toasters, and a fresh water standpipe. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, and milk portions are also provided.
Camping
The five-acre camping field boasts expansive views across the Weald of Kent. Spacious pitches provide ample room for tents, and the area includes a gas-powered hot shower hut, a clean toilet, a washing-up sink, and a fresh water standpipe. Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a small fee, though they must remain on a lead or tether. Guests are encouraged to bring gazebos, puppy pens, or awnings at no additional cost. Fires are only permitted in raised fire pits, with fire pits and gas BBQs available for hire on-site. While small campervans are welcome, motorhomes and touring caravans are not permitted. Large gatherings must be approved in advance.
Exclusive Hire
For larger groups or special occasions, Hopgarden offers exclusive site hire for up to 30 guests across its Shepherd’s Huts and Bell tents. This option is ideal for family gatherings, celebrations, or group retreats, offering privacy and an idyllic countryside setting for making unforgettable memories.
