Wellington Country Park is an ideal destination for family days out, offering safe play areas for children, scenic nature trails, and a peaceful lakeside walk that is both fun and educational. Guests benefit from well-maintained amenities, including toilets, showers, hot and cold water, electric shaving points, hair dryers, a covered wash-up area, and a laundry room with washing, drying, and ironing facilities. Laundry tokens can be purchased from Reception, where store cupboard essentials and fresh goods are also available. Groceries, Calor gas, and camping accessories can be found locally.
The campsite provides a range of pitch types:
Premium sites: Larger electric pitches offering extra privacy.
Electric hard-standing sites: Predominantly hardcore gravel, ideal for motorhomes but unsuitable for tents.
Electric sites: Suitable for caravans, campervans, motorhomes, and trailer tents.
Non-electric sites: Standard grass pitches suitable only for tents.
Perfect as a touring base for Hampshire, Berkshire, and the South of England, the site is easily accessible from the M3 and M4. For those travelling to or from Europe, it is conveniently located within reach of the Channel ports.
