The Willows – Yr Helyg is a welcoming adult-only campsite in the picturesque village of Mynytho, just a short drive from the popular seaside town of Abersoch. Nestled in a peaceful location on the stunning Llŷn Peninsula, the site offers breathtaking countryside and coastal views, making it the perfect retreat for guests seeking relaxation in scenic surroundings. Its prime location provides easy access to sandy beaches, historic sites, and charming Welsh villages, while walkers and hikers will find endless routes to explore, including the renowned coastal path and Mariners Way.
Pitches & Touring Facilities
The touring area is set within landscaped grounds with a solid road leading to fully serviced hard-standing pitches. Due to high demand, three additional hard-standing pitches will be available from 2026. Grass pitches each have their own water tap, with some offering spectacular sea views over Snowdonia and others overlooking the surrounding countryside with a historic windmill in the distance.
All pitches include free water, grey waste, Wi-Fi and boosted TV signal. Electric is metered, and gas is available for purchase on-site.
Accommodation Options
Shepherd’s Hut – 'Llety’r Bugail': Stylishly furnished with a modern kitchen, shower room, double bed, TV, and smart electric fire. French doors open onto a private patio with garden furniture and a hot tub.
Willerby Static Caravan: Features a double en suite, modern shower room, fully equipped kitchen, lounge/dining area and decking with furniture offering spectacular coastal and countryside views.
The Chillout Pod: A cosy escape (£60 per night) with a king-size bed, bedding and towels included, tea and coffee facilities, a small fridge, seating, and an electric fire. Guests use the site’s modern shower block.
