Marthrown of Mabie provides various types of accommodation in the Mabie Forest, Dumfries & Galloway. The site offers something for everyone and they can even cater for groups of all sizes. This is a picturesque location surrounded by forest and is the perfect place for relaxation - there is even a sauna and hot tub on site.
There are no set pitches for tents, so you should call before coming to camp. The camping area has an outdoor private hot shower and dry composting toilet. The car park is 75 yards from the site, but we provide wheelbarrows to transport your things.

Iron Age Roundhouse - This awesome spectacle is a replica of a Celtic Iron Age roundhouse and it can sleep up to 16 people.
Bunkhouse - The bunkhouse provides sleeping space for 26 people in 4 rooms. There are kitchen facilities, a living area with a wood burning stove and DVD player.

The area around Marthrown is the perfect place for mountain biking as the forest has the world-class 7Stanes venue. There is also a range of footpaths and places to go clay pigeon shooting, rifle shooting and fishing.
