Henbant Permaculture Farm and Campsite in Caernarfon offers wonderful glamping accommodation and (nearly) wild camping, nestled in a gorgeous countryside setting. Based in a lovely part of Gwynedd, this is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

There are four wonderful glamping units to choose from, all boasting an individual character and unique charm. All guests are also welcome to wander around the scenic farm and discover lakes, woodland, wildflower meadow meadows and orchards. You can also pick veg from the organic no-dig market garden and eggs from the pasture fed chickens.

The Wooden Yurt: This charming yurt is beautifully furnished and boasts amazing views. Inside you will find a toasty wood burner, double ring gas burner, double bed and two single beds (all bedding provided), a sink and mains electricity and lighting pans, crockery etc. A private shower and toilet is also available. Outside there is a fire pit to huddle around.

Woodland Roundhouse/Fairy/Hobbit House: This magical roundhouse offers a truly magical experience. It is beautifully made from straw bales and super-insulated with gas hob, a wood burner and running water. Inside there is a double bed, a double sofa bed and big single bed. We will provide all bedding (but not towels). A double ring gas burner is great for cooking and the BBQ/firepit is perfect for al fresco dining.

Wooden Dome: The gorgeous dome is well-insulated and nestled in a woodland corner of our site. The dome enjoys amazing sea and mountain views. Inside there is a double and two single beds, electric, wood burning stove, an outdoor kitchen, picnic bench, fire pit, private toilet and hot shower. In the afternoon, unwind on the hammock whilst savouring your surroundings.

Longhouse/Underground Hobbit Cabin: This delightful turf-covered cabin offer a fabulous mixture of a Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It offers amazing views of the mountains and sea. Excellent facilities include a bedding for the double bed and two single beds, a wood burner, cooking equipment, a shower and compost toilet.

There is a (nearly) wild camping experience, offering a dazzling fairyland style meadow to camp in, a small lake to swim in and an atmospheric woodland to walk around. A converted cow shed comes with wood-burner, sofas, fridge, microwave, toaster and freezer, electric and a big collection of books and maps. There is also a compost toilet.
