Glenshee Glamping is set across 10 acres at Blacklunans near Blairgowrie in Perthshire. Surrounded by mountain scenery, the site offers a choice of glamping accommodation for couples, families and small groups.
The wooden glamping pods sleep two or four and include heating, electric lighting, a socket, kettle and complimentary tea and coffee. Each has an outside decked area with a picnic table and firepit/BBQ. A wood-fired hot tub can also be hired.
Blackberry Hut sleeps two and Tummelberry Hut sleeps four. Both shepherd’s huts have raised double beds and wood-burning stoves. Tummelberry Hut also has two single beds which can be used as seating. Mulberry Cabin sleeps six and includes a kitchenette, dining area and wood-burning stove. The restored LMS Goods Wagon sleeps five with a raised double bed, three bunk beds and a wood-burning stove.
Linen and towel bundles can be hired or guests can bring their own. There are also six tent pitches with individual bathrooms and hot showers. All guests can use The Bothy which has cooking facilities, a microwave, fridge freezer and crockery. An eight-person hot tub is available to book separately and archery can also be booked onsite.
Nearby walks range from lower-level routes to climbs around Cairnwell, Creag Leacach and Ben Gulabin. Places to visit include the Cateran Trail, Braemar Highland Games Centre, Balmoral Castle, Braemar Castle and Scone Palace.
