Padstow View is an award-winning campsite offering sweeping coastal views, spacious pitches and easy access to Padstow’s famous harbour and beaches, making it a great place to relax without stretching your budget. Just a few minutes’ drive from Padstow and around 20 minutes from Newquay, this friendly, dog-welcoming site is ideal for families.

Set in the Cornish countryside, it is a peaceful pop-up campsite overlooking the estuary and perfectly placed for exploring charming harbour towns, golden sandy beaches and enjoying the area’s renowned fish and chips. Guests also have the added bonus of being able to pitch wherever they choose on the grass. Four bell tents are available, with guests simply needing to bring their own bedding.

On-site showers make it easy to wash off the sand after visiting the seven bays within a 10-minute drive, including Trevone Bay, Constantine Bay, Porthcothan Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Booby’s Bay, Mother Ivy’s Bay and Harlyn Bay. Toilets and a washing-up area are also available. While there is no WiFi on site, most visitors can access a reliable 4G signal, and phone charging lockers are provided. Chemical waste disposal is available, and fire pits can be hired.

The campsite also features a secure dog walking field, offering a safe space where dogs can run freely, making it an ideal spot for pets and their owners to relax and enjoy the outdoors together.

Padstow Pizza is available on site every evening, serving pizzas, burgers, chips and wraps. Drinks, cakes and breakfast options are also available, with details provided on arrival.

A bus stop just outside the campsite makes exploring the area easy, with hourly services during the summer. St Issey and the surrounding Padstow area offer plenty to see and do for all interests. Nearby attractions include Trevibban Mill Vineyard & Orchard for local wine and produce, the Camel Trail for cycling and walking, and family-friendly experiences such as The Tide Climbing Centre and creative workshops at the Willow Craft Centre. A short drive leads to Padstow’s picturesque harbour with its quaint shops and eateries, beautiful nearby beaches including Hawker’s Cove and St George’s Cove, and scenic routes along the Camel Trail. Visitors can also explore coastal headlands such as Trevose Head or enjoy family fun at Camel Creek Adventure Park, ensuring something for outdoor lovers, foodies and families alike.

Padstow View is open from mid-July until the beginning of September and welcomes motorhomes, campervans and tents. Group bookings are available by arrangement, subject to enquiry.
