Ardgay Glamping offers well-appointed glamping pods located in the peaceful rural village of Ardgay, providing a comfortable and relaxing escape in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. The site makes an ideal base for exploring Sutherland and the wider north of Scotland, with dramatic landscapes, outdoor activities and scenic coastal routes all within easy reach.
The site features two glamping pods, each equipped with outdoor BBQ and cooking facilities, along with seating for al fresco dining while enjoying the surrounding views. Struie Glamping Pod accommodates up to two adults and two children, or three adults, while Kyle Glamping Pod also sleeps two adults and two children, or three adults.
Set within a scenic orchard and surrounded by open countryside, the bespoke pods have been finished to a high standard and are well insulated for year-round comfort. Patio doors and a rear-opening window provide plenty of natural light. Inside, each pod includes a double bed with bedding and towels provided, a hair dryer, and a comfortable lounge area with a sofa bed.
The kitchenette features a solid oak work surface with storage cupboards, an induction hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microwave, allowing guests to prepare and enjoy meals at the dining table. Additional amenities include a wall-mounted Freeview TV, as well as a private toilet and shower room.
The nearby village of Bonar Bridge is located approximately one mile away and offers access to scenic walks along the River Carron. The surrounding area provides a range of attractions and places to explore, including:
