The Queens Acre, Water Oakley, Berkshire

The Queens Acre is a small, peaceful campsite situated in the charming hamlet of Water Oakley, just ten minutes from the historic town of Windsor in Berkshire. Perfect for a relaxing countryside getaway, the site welcomes caravans, motorhomes, and small campervans, offering a friendly and traditional camping experience close to many local attractions.

The campsite features up to 30 pitches for tourers, though it retains an intimate atmosphere by only accepting five caravans or motorhomes at a time. While there are no electric hook-ups, the site provides a simple, back-to-nature experience, with toilets available onsite (please note that there are no showers). Long-term pitches are also available for those wishing to stay longer, and guests can enquire about the 12 ensuite rooms for added comfort.

In addition to touring pitches, glamping units are also available, offering an alternative way to enjoy the picturesque surroundings in comfort.

The Queens Acre is ideally located close to several local pubs and a leisure centre, as well as scenic river walks and opportunities for watersports and bungee jumping.

A short drive takes guests into Windsor, where they can explore a range of famous attractions including Windsor Castle, Legoland, and Savill Garden. The town also offers excellent museums, galleries, and shopping opportunities. For a memorable day out, visitors can head to Ascot Racecourse for a day at the races.

Combining a convenient location with a peaceful countryside setting, The Queens Acre provides an ideal base for exploring Berkshire and the surrounding area.
