Ingledene Beckside Campsite is a small, family-run site located in the heart of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors, just a short stroll from the centre of the market town of Pickering. Surrounded by open fields and country lanes and bordered by Pickering Beck, it provides a peaceful and picturesque setting ideal for a relaxing break.
The campsite offers 20 pitches in total and welcomes motorhomes, caravans and campervans. Guests can choose from hard-standing pitches with electric hook-ups or grass pitches with or without electric. Facilities include a shower block with separate toilets and showers for ladies and gents, along with a family and disabled bathroom featuring a shower and toilet. Additional amenities include wash-up sinks, recycling points, a freezer, toilet disposal, and a drive-over grey waste disposal point.
A pleasant fifteen-minute walk leads to Pickering, where visitors can enjoy supermarkets, independent shops, real ale pubs and a variety of restaurants. The North Yorkshire Moors Railway station is within easy reach, and the lively Monday market draws many to the town. From the campsite, there are numerous walking routes to explore, and the friendly owners are happy to offer advice on local trails. Public transport is readily available, with buses running to York, Whitby and Scarborough. For family fun, Flamingo Land theme park and other popular attractions are only a short drive away.
As an environmentally conscious site, guests are encouraged to use chemical-free products whenever possible. Barbecues and fire pits are permitted, provided the grass is not damaged, and logs are available for purchase on site.
