The North Coast Touring Park is situated in the small coastal village of Melvich,17 miles west of Thurso. Situated in the county of Sutherland, it's an excellent base for those wishing to explore the Scottish Highlands.
The touring park has a variety of pitches. There are also glamping pods available which can sleep up to 7 people. Facilities include a football field and entertainment including a monthly quiz and karaoke.
The site is located next to the inn, which is open during normal licensing hours. A varied menu is supplied, everything from bacon rolls to steak! Occasionally local fresh brown trout is on the specials board.
Melvich is perfect for a peaceful holiday. The sandy beach is just a ten minute walk away and is popular for surfing. The area is an ideal base for touring the North Coast of Scotland, with Orkney just a short ferry ride away.
