Gill Head Farm Caravan & Camping Park is a working farm providing caravan and camping facilities as well as glamping accommodation in 8 pods and a gypsy wagon. The park is located in Troutbeck village which is in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, just a short distance from Penrith.
The park offers grass and hard standing pitches with electric hook ups. As well as camping and caravanning facilities, there are camping pods which each include a decking area, electric, heating and deep filled futon type mattresses.
There is also a gypsy wagon which can sleep 2 people on a double bed. The lovely vintage wagon also has an indoor cooking area, shower/toilet facilities, fire pit and a complimentary full English breakfast.
The caravan and camping park has lots of facilities including: Shower/toilet & laundry block, gas exchange, communal cabin with TV, microwaves and BBQ area, Wi-Fi hotspots, takeaway breakfasts & a small shop.
Lake Ullswater is only 5 miles away, and the popular resorts of Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere are each within a short, scenic drive.
