Our beautiful shepherd huts are in the grounds of Samlesbury Hall, one of Lancashire’s foremost stately homes. Our huts are luxurious whilst offering a rustic charm. Each hut sleeps up to 4 people. The hand crafted huts each come with two doubles made from European oak and memory foam mattresses. There is a cosy en suite and the bathroom includes a large shower, hot water, soft towels and sumptuous toiletries.
All the huts are well insulated and well lit with festoon lighting. Chairs and tables can be taken outside to unwind around the fire pit. You can also relax on a picnic bench whilst enjoying the stunning vista.
You can explore a wide range of facilities at Samlesbury Hall. Hidden in the woodland is Mayflower playground and adventure trail. There is a crazy golf course on the grounds payable locally, free flow visits through our historic hall. Also, free tours with a guide most Sundays at 11am and 2pm. (Hall closed Mondays and Saturday’s and if a wedding function is on, please check).
Several excellent attractions are nearby, including:
Brockholes Nature Reserve.
Lytham St Anne Beach
Market town of Clitheroe
Pendle hill for the famous Lancashire witches.
