Bagwell Farm Touring Park, Weymouth, Dorset
Bagwell Farm is a family-run touring park set in the tranquil Dorset countryside, close to the spectacular Jurassic Coast. Offering a wide variety of pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes, and RVs, including fully serviced hardstandings, the park caters for all types of campers. It is just a short walk from the Fleet Lagoon nature reserve on the South West Coast Path and only five miles from the traditional seaside town of Weymouth, making it an ideal base for exploring Dorset.
The park features a large dog-walking meadow and a dedicated doggy shower. On-site facilities include spotless toilet and shower blocks, accessible wet rooms, family bathrooms, and a well-equipped laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. The on-site shop is open daily and stocks groceries, toiletries, toys, souvenirs, camping and caravanning essentials, Calor gas, and a wide range of locally produced goods.
The Red Barn Bar and Grill is open from Easter through to November and serves a generous selection of freshly cooked meals. Signature dishes include steaks and beef specialities made using beef from the family’s own herd of pedigree Charolais cattle.
The nearest bus stop is less than half a mile away, providing access to the X53 Jurassic Coaster service. This scenic route runs east to Weymouth and west to Axminster, stopping at popular towns and villages such as Abbotsbury, Bridport, and Lyme Regis along the way.
Bagwell Farm also offers caravan storage, seasonal pitches, and a separate field dedicated to caravan rallies.
