Woodhall Country Park features 80 fully serviced hard-standing caravan pitches, each equipped with electric, water, and drainage for both foul and grey water. In addition, a designated grassed area provides spacious camping pitches, set amidst the woodland to offer both shade and a chance to experience the beauty of the natural habitat. Ideal for families and couples, all pitches are conveniently located near high-quality amenity blocks. These sympathetically designed washroom facilities include spacious showers, hand basins, toilets, washing-up areas, and provisions for disabled guests.
As a unique offering, Woodhall Country Park is proud to be the first location in the country to introduce Sky Pods—an innovative glamping experience without the hassle of setting up a tent. Six Sky Pods are available, each measuring 3.2m x 2.4m and designed to accommodate two adults and two children. The pods feature a double futon bed, two children’s bunk beds, tea and coffee-making facilities, indoor and outdoor lighting, electrical sockets, and a picnic bench, all set within the woodland surroundings. Guests staying in the Sky Pods, as well as campers, have access to a dedicated food preparation area equipped with sinks, worktops, a microwave, a kettle, and a freezer for ice packs.
For fishing enthusiasts, Woodhall Country Park boasts three well-stocked and balanced fishing lakes. Nestled in peaceful woodland, these lakes provide the perfect setting for Mirror Carp and Common Carp fishing in Lincolnshire, while also allowing visitors to appreciate the rich wildlife in the surrounding park.
The park is ideally located for those looking to explore the area by bicycle. Bike hire is available, with nearby access to the Spa Trail, Viking Way, and Water Rail Way—all offering scenic cycling routes suitable for all levels. The landscape around Woodhall Spa is relatively flat, making for enjoyable rides, while those venturing closer to the Lincolnshire Wolds will find more undulating terrain to explore.
Woodhall Country Park is also a haven for walkers, with excellent nearby routes such as the Water Rail Way, which connects Lincoln to Boston and is accessible just a mile from the site. The Spa Trail offers a stunning three-mile, traffic-free journey along the midsection of the old Horncastle to Woodhall Junction Railway and part of the Horncastle Canal. This scenic trail forms part of the long-distance Viking Way, stretching from Hull to Harwich.
