Crake Trees Manor in Crosby Ravensworth offers a totally unique camping and glamping experience in the idyllic countryside. Based on our family farm near Penrith in Cumbria. The perfect location for cyclists and walkers exploring the Yorkshire Dales & Lake District.
Camping: Fabulous, almost wild, camping experience in the meadows around the farm, brimming with rich wildlife. We have a grown-ups field & a family field. Brand-new shower block with large individual wet rooms and community kitchen.
Glamping: Our spacious pods are the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience. Set in a scenic meadow, offering a tranquil setting that is ideal for stargazing. Each pod has a private outside area with a picnic table and a rather special fire pit and BBQ.
Fresh sausage & egg breakfast baps from the farm kitchen are brought to the site by farmer Mike each morning. This is the perfect way to start your day before exploring the local country lanes, villages and fells on foot or by bike.
During the summer months, we have a wonderful pop-up pizza cafe offering delicious wood-fired pizzas.
A range of great attractions are in the local area such as Ullswater Lake, Haweswater Reserve, Lowther Castle and Gardens, Settle to Carlisle Railway & Dalemain House.
