We are a Camping and Caravanning Club site and accept non-members. We
are in possession of Visit England 5 star and AA 5 pennant ratings.
From the site you can stroll to busy Bellingham village and the
spectacular waterfall of Hareshaw Linn, stride out along the Pennine
Way, or try climbing the local crags. This land bares vivid reminders of
its past; and none more spectacular than Hadrian’s Wall, a short drive
from the site. The historic houses of Cragside and Wallington are
nearby, while Alnwick, the Simonside Hills and the castles and coastline
of Northumberland make wonderful day trips.
We offer a number of ‘package’ stays entailing transport to local
sites of interest and also special events on site (call the site).If you want an easier camping experience, try ‘glamping’ and hire a Camping Pod on the site. Our shop stock includes fresh, local produce from the Northumberland Sausage Company and Tarset Valley Marmalade.
