Hidden behind a trees just a short walk from the main street in
Ballykeeran, the camping and caravanning park has 60 pitches, and is set
on 5 acres of wonderful countryside. Our camping and caravanning park
is only 2 miles from Athlone where there are shop, cafes and pubs.
The top half of the site is in woodland and after the reception and
sanitary block, Lough Ree comes into view and the remaining pitches run
down to the shoreline. The campsite is ideal for angling, boating, wind
surfing, sailing and especially canoeing. This park is bordered by a
500m stretch of the Breensford trout river.
Our camping and caravanning park is a convenient base for visiting
Clonmacnoise and enjoying many scenic walks, daily cruises on the River
Shannon, golfing, horse riding, sailing locally.
