Waters Edge Caravan Park is ideally located on the outskirts of the spectacular English Lake District, just a few miles from the market town of Kendal. Its prime position makes it an excellent destination for a peaceful weekend getaway, offering easy access to the breathtaking scenery, charming villages and outdoor adventures found throughout the Lake District, Cumbria and the surrounding areas.
The park is open from the 1st of March until mid-November.
Waters Edge Caravan Park provides a full range of high-standard facilities, including a well-stocked shop, bar, pool room and TV lounge. All facilities are maintained to a first-class standard.
The park offers single-file, hard-standing level pitches, spaced generously on either side of a driveway. Each pitch has an electrical hook-up and plenty of grass between neighbouring plots.
Reception
The park’s amenities are conveniently located in the attractive and thoughtfully designed reception building. A nearby pond provides a peaceful spot for a summer picnic, complete with stone-built barbecue points along its banks.
The Shop
A shop is located within the reception area and is open seven days a week from 9am to 6pm for guests’ convenience.
There is no shortage of facilities at Waters Edge Caravan Park. Guests can enjoy a comfortable lounge bar, a separate pool room and an upstairs TV lounge. An outdoor patio area adjacent to the bar offers a relaxing space for lazy summer afternoons or evenings, complete with a patio heater for cooler nights.
The Bar
The bar is open from March to mid-November, daily from 11am to 6pm, and additionally on Friday and Saturday evenings. Guests are advised to check weekly bar timings prior to booking to avoid disappointment.
When the bar is closed, a public house and restaurant is conveniently located approximately 300 yards from the reception area.
