Owl Cabin
Owl Cabin provides everything needed for an idyllic countryside stay, nestled in a tranquil setting beside the woods.
Inside, the cabin features a spacious open-plan living area complete with a cosy log burner and views across the garden towards Castle Hill. Facilities include a TV, DVD player and DAB radio.
Outside, guests can enjoy a private garden and patio area with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining. There is also a wood-burning hot tub, perfect for relaxing with a glass of bubbly beneath the stars.
The Hide
The Hide is a luxurious roundhouse tucked away behind a photinia hedge, offering guests privacy and tranquillity.
The property includes a comfortable double bedroom and a stylish bathroom featuring a bath and rain head shower. Guests can relax on the cosy sofa during cooler months or enjoy outdoor dining whilst taking in the countryside views during the summer.
A unique outdoor bath house provides the perfect place to unwind. Additional facilities include a TV, DVD player and DAB radio.
The Nest
The Nest is a beautifully designed roundhouse that effortlessly blends indoor and outdoor living.
Guests can enjoy views of the fallow deer wandering in the nearby fields, while inside there is a freestanding bath and rain head shower for ultimate relaxation. Outside, a roll-top bath allows guests to soak whilst admiring the surrounding scenery.
Facilities include a TV, DVD player and DAB radio, while guests also benefit from exclusive use of the woodland wood-fired hot tub.
Hidden House
Hidden House has a tropical woodland feel and is handcrafted from locally sourced cedar. Tucked into the edge of the woodland amongst trees and ferns, the property is elevated on timber legs, placing the living spaces three metres above the forest floor.
A generous outdoor deck features a copper bath and hammock leading to a private spa area with wood-fired hot tub and sauna. The secluded garden also includes an outdoor kitchen and sunset patio, ideal for fires and stargazing.
Inside, guests can enjoy a beautifully designed kitchen, cosy log burner, king-size bed and spacious shower, all enhanced by expansive windows showcasing the enchanting woodland surroundings.
The Bird House
The Bird House is a luxury treehouse raised on stilts within the woodland garden and includes exclusive use of the woodland wood-fired hot tub.
Featuring high vaulted ceilings and stylish interiors, the treehouse has been thoughtfully designed throughout. Guests can enjoy a handmade bed, fully equipped kitchen and excellent facilities including a TV, DVD player and DAB radio.
Outside, there is a fire bowl for toasting marshmallows beneath the stars alongside the wood-fired hot tub.
Woodland Sauna
All guests staying at Hinton Hideaways have access to the Woodland Sauna, designed as a peaceful space to relax and revitalise.
The sauna features a Physiotherm infrared sauna which gently heats the body rather than the surrounding air. There is also a spacious outdoor shower suitable for two people, changing facilities and filtered spring drinking water.
Local Area
There is plenty to explore nearby for guests wishing to venture beyond the retreat. Devon and Dorset’s Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site is only a short drive away and offers dramatic coastal scenery, breathtaking cliff-top walks and picturesque beaches.
The surrounding villages and towns are also home to independent shops, local markets, traditional country pubs and excellent restaurants.
Changeover days are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays only.
