Pot-A-Doodle Do offers glamping accommodation near Berwick-upon-Tweed in Northumberland. Set in a countryside location along the Northumbrian coast, the site provides easy access to some of Britain’s most spectacular coastal scenery.

The glamping site is just minutes from golden sandy beaches and boasts stunning views across to Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Farne Islands. There are 30 wooden cabins available on site, all designed to provide a warm and comfortable stay.

Each cabin is cosy, double glazed and heated with a panel heater for cooler days. Inside, a bench-style seating area with thick foam mattresses converts into a wall-to-wall sleeping space. Outside, every cabin features a decking area with a picnic table, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee. Guests have full use of the communal toilet and shower block, along with a spacious, fully equipped communal kitchen where meals can be prepared and enjoyed at any time of day.

Of the 30 cabins, 20 standard cabins can accommodate up to five guests, while four smaller standard cabins sleep up to three guests. Some cabins are dog-friendly. Two en-suite cabins include a private shower room, along with a panel heater, toaster, kettle and a TV.

For a truly memorable stay, the deluxe cabin known as The Grand Canyon offers the best view on the site, overlooking Berwick-upon-Tweed and the Tweed estuary. This cabin sleeps up to four guests and features a private shower room, mini kitchen and TV.

The site also offers three fully accessible cabins, each equipped with a wet room, mini kitchen and TV. These cabins are suitable for all abilities and comfortably sleep up to four guests.

A wide range of on-site facilities is available, including a licensed restaurant serving breakfasts, light lunches, coffee and cakes, a licensed shop, an interactive art studio, a children’s play area and three Finnish BBQ huts available for hire, all with electricity. Guests can also make use of the spacious communal kitchen and the main toilet and shower block.

The surrounding area is packed with family-friendly attractions. Whitehouse Farm Centre offers indoor and outdoor play facilities along with hands-on animal and feeding sessions, while Chain Bridge Honey Farm features a working bee farm and visitor centre. Nearby attractions include Lucky Ducks Soft Play, Go Ape, Alnwick Castle, The Bunker Crazy Golf, The Alnwick Garden, Bamburgh Beach, Swan Centre for Leisure and Places Leisure, which opened in 2024 and includes soft play, a swimming pool, gym and more.
