Little Otchan Glamping offers a bespoke shepherd’s hut and luxury bell tents set in an idyllic location within the unspoilt East Yorkshire countryside at Halsham, close to Kingston upon Hull. Shepherd’s Hut
The cosy shepherd’s hut features a comfortable double bed positioned beside a log-burning stove, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen is cleverly designed for easy storage and meal preparation, and includes an induction hob, microwave and small fridge. A fold-down table provides space for dining, while the hut’s private bathroom includes a shower, hand basin and toilet. Bedding and towels are provided for convenience.
Outside, guests can enjoy a wood-fired hot tub, a firepit for rustic outdoor cooking, and a hammock for relaxing, ensuring a truly tranquil and indulgent stay.
Bell Tents
The luxury six-metre bell tents are set across more than three acres of land, with just four tents on site to ensure plenty of space and privacy. Guests staying in the bell tents have access to a shared kitchen area for preparing, cooking and storing food. This space is well equipped with electric hobs, a fridge, freezer, toaster, cutlery, glasses and crockery. A log burner and two large tables provide a welcoming communal area for gathering and creating lasting memories.
Each bell tent benefits from its own private washroom, complete with a shower, toilet and basin.
On-Site Facilities & Local Area
Additional on-site features include a wood-fired pizza oven and a large communal firepit, perfect for evening gatherings and toasting marshmallows. There is ample open space for children to play, with a natural play area ideal for ball games and outdoor fun.
East Yorkshire offers a wealth of attractions and places to explore, including excellent walking routes along the rugged coastline and across the Yorkshire Wolds. A wide choice of beaches is also within easy reach, making Little Otchan Glamping an ideal base for enjoying the best of the region.
