Dalraddy Holiday Park, Aviemore, Inverness-shire, The Highlands

Dalraddy Holiday Park is situated in the Cairngorms National Park, just 3 miles south of Aviemore, and spans 39 hectares (97 acres) of mainly native pine and birch woodland. Close to the River Spey, the park offers spectacular views beyond the trees and provides an ideal base for a wide range of outdoor activities, wildlife watching and local leisure facilities.

The park features 44 touring caravan pitches with electric hook-ups, 50 tent pitches—some with electric and water—80 fully serviced static caravans and 67 wooden chalets. A selection of the static caravans and chalets are available for hire.

A variety of facilities are available onsite, including a toilet and shower block with under-floor heating, dishwashing facilities, a laundrette and chemical disposal points. Guests can also make use of a licensed shop with computer access and Wi-Fi, along with a well-equipped children’s play park.

Attractions:
Leisure activities on the Alvie & Dalraddy Estates include a zip trek park, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, archery, fishing, paintball games, gorge walking, bush craft and survival courses and Segways. Many of these can be booked at the park shop, although some are unavailable during winter months. Estate tours and wildlife watching can also be arranged.

The surrounding area offers numerous walking routes, downhill skiing on Cairngorm, water sports at Loch Insh, Loch Morlich and on the River Spey, and mountain biking trails on Forestry Commission land at Glenfeshie, Inshriach and Laggan. Birdwatchers can visit hides at Ruthven (RSPB) and Loch Alvie.
