Covering 15 acres of open land, Wilton Farm delivers a free-range, off-grid camping experience that blends naturally with its surroundings. With no electric hook-ups or flushing toilets, the site takes a minimal-impact approach. Rustic wooden huts house compost toilets, hot showers, and basic washing facilities, allowing guests to stay comfortably while honouring the site’s eco-friendly ethos. Multiple water points supply fresh drinking water, and dedicated recycling and waste areas support the farm’s sustainability efforts.

The communal hangout barn provides a cosy, sheltered space for guests to relax or socialise on rainy days. Visitors can also join in animal feeding sessions with friendly Jersey calves, pet lambs, and chickens, or admire the farm’s vintage tractor collection.
Wilton Farm welcomes well-behaved dogs and campervans up to 7 metres in length. However, due to the narrow single-lane roads leading to the site, caravans and large motorhomes cannot be accommodated.
Located in the heart of the South Hams, this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is renowned for its golden beaches, winding country lanes, and the stunning South West Coast Path. A walk down the tidal lane leads to the beaches of East Portlemouth, with a passenger ferry offering easy access to the lively sailing town of Salcombe. Nearby, the award-winning Millbrook Inn and the quirky Pigs Nose Inn serve local cider, freshly baked Devon pasties, and regional delights such as Salcombe crab.
