Abbey Farm Glamping, located in Thame, Oxfordshire, offers charming accommodation in beautifully crafted shepherd’s huts, set within the picturesque surroundings of Abbey Farm. Guests can enjoy peaceful views stretching towards the Chiltern Hills, making it an ideal countryside retreat.
The shepherd’s huts are discreetly positioned on the edge of a woodland, ensuring privacy as they cannot be seen from one another. Each hut is fully self-contained, insulated and heated, providing comfort throughout the year. Both feature a fully equipped kitchen alongside a cosy seating and dining area, as well as a high-quality en-suite shower room.
The two huts differ slightly in their sleeping arrangements, with one offering a fixed double bed and the other featuring a ready-made pull-down bed on the end wall. Both options are designed to provide a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.
Outside, each hut has its own lawn and patio area complete with table and chairs, a patio heater, barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub, creating the perfect setting for relaxing evenings under the stars. All essentials for the outdoor facilities, including firelighters, kindling and logs, are provided. Towels, robes and bed linen are also included, and each hut benefits from Wi-Fi access.
The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities to explore, with a footpath and bridleway just a few hundred yards away. A cycle path at the farm entrance links directly to the Phoenix Trail, while private walks and fishing along the River Thame run through the farm.
Abbey Farm Glamping is ideally situated for visiting a variety of local attractions, including Thame Museum, Waddesdon Manor, Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds, making it a perfect base for both relaxation and exploration.
