Cattlestone Farm Camping and Glamping in West Chiltington offers the perfect setting for an idyllic countryside getaway. Located near Pulborough in a tranquil part of West Sussex, the site provides luxurious glamping accommodation alongside camping and campervan pitches.
Set within 60 acres of unspoiled wildflower meadows and surrounded by ancient woodland, the farm offers a peaceful escape from the pressures of modern life. Numerous scenic public footpaths and bridleways are nearby, along with a variety of excellent local attractions.
Shepherd’s Huts
Tucked away in a separate field from the main camping area, there are two beautifully appointed shepherd’s huts to choose from. Both include Egyptian cotton bed linen, comfortable seating, a refrigerator and a kettle. Outside, off-ground fire pits provide the perfect place to gather under the stars.
Stitchwort Shepherd’s Hut enjoys stunning views across the wildflower meadow and features a comfortable double bed, dresser, table and chairs, gas burner and outdoor seating. A private shower room is located just outside the hut. For additional space, guests can also book the Little Bell Tent.
Sunrise Shepherd’s Hut is set within a peaceful glade, overlooking the wildflower meadow. This hut offers sumptuous interiors, a king-size bed and an en suite shower/dressing room. The well-equipped kitchen includes a coffee machine, while a cosy sofa and TV provide a relaxing space indoors. Outside, guests can unwind in a roll-top bath and enjoy the wraparound decking area with seating — ideal for a morning coffee in the fresh country air.
Camping
There are 30 pitches available for tents and campervans, set within a picturesque six-acre wildflower meadow. Pitches are unallocated and each accommodates either one tent or one campervan. Guests have access to toilets, showers and a washing-up area.
Onsite Retreats
Cattlestone Farm is also home to Cattlestone Farm Wellness Retreats, in partnership with Holistic Angel. A range of treatments and classes are available, including yoga, meditation, self-massage and breathing exercises, offering guests the opportunity to fully relax and recharge.
Visiting the Area
The farm is ideally positioned for exploring West Sussex and beyond. The South Downs National Park is just a 10-minute drive away, while the historic town of Arundel can be reached in around 20 minutes. Goodwood, award-winning local vineyards, traditional country pubs and charming villages are also close by.
