Whitefield Forest Touring Park is an award-winning, family-run site set in a peaceful location between Ryde and Sandown on the Isle of Wight. Guests benefit from special ferry deals available with both ferry companies throughout the year.
Unique to the island, the park is set within a forest and features terraced pitches, offering visitors the chance to spot the Isle of Wight’s native red squirrels in their natural habitat.
The site offers a choice of spacious, all-weather hardstanding fully serviced pitches and traditional grass pitches, all with electric hook-ups. Each pitch is well drained, level and sheltered, making the park ideal for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Facilities include a heated amenities block with privacy cubicles, hairdryers, razor points, spacious shower cubicles, family washrooms with baby changing facilities, and a disabled shower room. Washing-up areas are conveniently located around the block, and a laundry room is also available.
At reception, guests will find a small shop stocking essentials and treats, including ice creams for sunny days. A book swap is also available for holiday reading. Just outside the reception building is a motorhome service point, making it easy for arrivals to top up with water.
Whitefield Forest Touring Park is perfectly located for walkers, with several footpaths and bridleways starting directly from the site. The nearby town of Ryde offers sandy beaches, shops, museums and galleries, while the excellent bus service from outside the park makes exploring the Isle of Wight easy and convenient.
