Exploring the Isle of Arran:

The Isle of Arran, approximately 20 miles long and 10 miles wide, is located in the Firth of Clyde, just a 50-minute ferry crossing from Ardrossan—placing the site less than two hours from Glasgow. Despite its small size, the island boasts a diverse landscape, with the Goat Fell mountain range in the north offering stunning scenery and challenging hikes, while the southern valleys provide beautiful woodland walks, including Glenashdale Falls and Eas Mor, the latter featuring a charming café.

For those seeking beachside relaxation, the stunning Torrylinn Beach is just a 15-minute walk from the site. Cyclists can enjoy the 60-mile coastal road around the island, while mountain bikers have access to forest tracks that crisscross the island and connect directly to the site.

Arran also offers a range of activities, including castle visits, kayaking, horse riding, swimming pools, cafés, and unique shopping experiences, making it an ideal destination for all interests.
