Black Isle Yurts, founded by owner and farmer Jenny, has combined traditional yurt-making techniques with farming expertise to create this unique glamping destination. A large, private car park features an EV charger, and from there, guests can take in breathtaking views over the Moray Firth before heading to The Hub for check-in. The Hub provides well-maintained shower and toilet facilities, washing-up areas, baby-changing stations, and an accessible toilet and shower room. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a friendly team member and provided with a wheelbarrow to assist in transporting luggage to their yurt.

Aspen – One of the closest yurts to The Hub, located approximately 70 metres away. Ideal for those who prefer proximity to shower and WC facilities. Features an outdoor decking area and accommodates up to four guests (one double bed and two pull-out single beds). Aspen is dog-friendly and within walking distance of Larch and Rowan for guests booking multiple yurts.
Larch – A unique, contemporary take on the traditional yurt, located 70 metres from The Hub. Fully insulated and double-glazed, Larch provides year-round comfort. Accommodates up to five guests (one double bed, one single bed, and bunk beds) and includes a separate kitchen area. A covered seating area allows guests to enjoy the woodland atmosphere in any weather. Larch is dog-friendly and close to Aspen and Rowan.
Rowan – Centrally positioned within the woodland, about 130 metres from The Hub. A spacious yurt accommodating up to four guests (one double bed and two pull-out single beds). Particularly suited for groups of adults and grown-up families. The elevated outdoor decking enhances the experience. Rowan is dog-friendly and within walking distance of Larch and Aspen.
Willow – The largest traditional yurt, situated in a secluded clifftop location, approximately 250 metres from The Hub. Sleeps up to five guests (one double bed, a day bed with trundle, and a pull-out single bed). A compost toilet is located nearby for added convenience. Willow is dog-friendly and close to Hazel Geodome and Rowan.
Hazel Geodome – A compact yet comfortable 14ft geodome, offering a unique alternative to traditional yurts. Ideal for couples or solo travellers, with a double bed and a small outdoor deck. Located around 125 metres from The Hub and dog-friendly. Nearby Cherry and Juniper yurts offer additional accommodation options.
Cherry – Boasting stunning views over Fort George and Chanonry Point, Cherry accommodates up to four guests (one double bed and two pull-out single beds). Situated 150 metres from The Hub, with a compost toilet nearby. Cherry is dog-friendly and within walking distance of Juniper and Holly.
Holly – Set in a prime clifftop location with exceptional views over the Moray Firth. Holly is the only dog-free yurt, accommodating up to four guests (one double bed and two pull-out single beds). It is 220 metres from The Hub, but a compost toilet is conveniently located nearby. Holly is within walking distance of Cherry and Juniper.
Juniper – Nestled in woodland above the cliffs, offering a tranquil retreat with the sound of crashing waves in the background.
