Nestled between the villages of Kentisbeare and Blackborough, just a short drive from Cullompton and the M5, Blackdown Yurts offers a peaceful retreat within the breathtaking Blackdown Hills, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This tranquil glamping site provides the perfect opportunity to escape into nature while enjoying comfort and charm.
Four beautiful yurts are thoughtfully positioned on individual decking bases, covered with coir matting to ensure warmth and dryness inside. Buzzard and Willow retain their traditional Mongolian yurt style, while Badger and Woodpecker were upgraded in 2020 with wooden-clad sides for added durability. Despite this modern touch, each yurt maintains its authentic charm with hand-painted Mongolian poles and intricate roof struts.

Though it is the furthest from the car park and communal barn, it remains conveniently accessible.

A wood-burning stove ensures warmth throughout the stay.
Woodpecker Yurt
Positioned near Badger Yurt in the main field, Woodpecker Yurt also sleeps up to six with a king-size double and four singles, offering stunning views across rolling fields to the Blackdown Hills.
