Camping
Newton House Farm provides a welcoming, tents-only campsite ideal for families, couples, and individuals eager to explore the local area. Dogs are also invited to enjoy the many nearby scenic walks. The site features a modern facilities block with underfloor-heated toilets, hot showers, and a shared kitchen equipped with a fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, and microwave, conveniently located near the pitches. Additional toilets are available on the camping field, and the standard pitch price includes two adults and two children, with a maximum of six guests per pitch.
While the site is not suitable for those with mobility issues and vehicles cannot access the camping field due to National Park planning restrictions, trolleys are provided to help transport camping gear from the car park to the pitches.
Camping Pods
The camping pods at Newton House Farm offer families the fun and affordability of camping without the need to set up a tent or worry about the weather. Elder, Larch, and Hazel pods each accommodate up to five people, featuring full insulation, beds, a fridge, and a kettle, with stunning valley views. The centre sleeping platform folds away during the day, creating a spacious interior. Elder and Larch pods are located on the main camping field, close to the toilets and a short walk from the facilities block, while Hazel Pod is situated nearer to the facilities block, close to the glamping pods. Guests are required to bring their own bedding, towels, and cooking equipment.
Glamping Pods
Newton House Farm also offers two fully insulated glamping pods, Bluebell and Snowdrop, designed for couples seeking a peaceful retreat. Each pod features underfloor heating, multiple power sockets, a double bed, a kettle, and a mini fridge. Bedding is usually provided, but guests have the option to bring their own when booking to reduce costs. Exclusive access to a private underfloor-heated toilet and shower room is provided via a separate facilities block.
