Woolton Farm, Bekesbourne, Canterbury, Kent

Woolton Farm offers beautiful glamping accommodation in the heart of their family-owned estate, where the land has been cultivated for over 100 years. Located near Canterbury in Kent, Woolton Farm is known for producing award-winning wines and ciders, and providing unique hospitality steeped in fruit-growing tradition. The furnished bell tents are nestled among the trees in the charming gardens behind The Barn, a stunning thatched building crafted from Oak and Elm beams dating back to the 14th century.

The Barn serves as the heart of the site, situated within a large fruit garden and featuring an outdoor kitchen, camping facilities, bell tents, and a craft drinks shop and bar. The Barn is open every weekend from April to September, offering a taste of local heritage and hospitality.

Glamping at Woolton Farm includes furnished bell tents with double futons, quilts, and pillows, with extra camping mats available for children (extra bedding is needed for more than two people). Each tent accommodates up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children max) and comes with a power socket for charging phones and a lamp. Guests have access to on-site showers and toilets and receive a locker, portable power bank, and torch upon arrival. Wi-Fi is available at The Barn for added convenience.

For those who prefer a more traditional camping experience, Ellen’s Meadow offers a peaceful space to pitch tents, just 200 yards from The Barn. Fires are permitted in braziers or BBQs, which can be rented alongside logs and kindling. The meadow is equipped with toilets, hot showers, and a washing-up shed with drinking water and sinks. Campers also have access to The Barn's amenities, including Wi-Fi, a cafĂ©, shop, and bar.

Woolton Farm is also a boutique farm and vineyard, producing award-winning wines and ciders. From April to September, guests can join weekend wine and cider tours for an authentic orchard-to-glass experience. For those with less time, tasting flights are available on-site or as gifts.

The outdoor kitchen serves a variety of pizzas, salads, sides, and locally baked cakes and coffee, catering to various dietary needs. While reservations aren’t required for groups under 10, guests are welcome to drop by, and the staff will accommodate everyone as quickly as possible.
