The campsite caters to touring caravans, motorhomes, and tents, with level hard-standing and grass pitches equipped with electric hook-ups. The modern toilet and shower facilities were recently upgraded in 2022.
Stromness itself is a quaint town nestled on the lower slopes of a granite hillside, featuring houses built into the hillside and on stone piers. Its narrow main street winds charmingly along the shoreline.
