Bluecaps Farm Glamping, Cousley Wood, Wadhurst, East Sussex

Bluecaps Farm Glamping offers stunning glamping accommodation in Cousley Wood near Wadhurst. Situated in the beautiful countryside of East Sussex, it is ideal for a peaceful and tranquil breakaway.

Their charming glamping accommodation is located on a working farm that spans 300 acres of glorious grounds and woodland.

In January 2016, they welcomed Poppy, their beautiful new Shepherd's Hut, to their glamping family. This bespoke British-made hut is available year-round, providing a serene countryside retreat regardless of the weather. Inside, there is a spacious double bed with bedding and ample storage underneath. Poppy's compact kitchen area includes a butler sink, cupboards, wooden worktop, toaster, kettle, and induction hob. It also features a fold-away table with two chairs, and comes equipped with crockery, cutlery, and a slow cooker. A plug-in cool box ensures food stays fresh.

In June 2016, they introduced Forget-me-Not, another Shepherd's Hut designed for four people, with sturdy bunk beds suitable for adults. Both Poppy and Forget-me-Not are powered by mains electricity and boast cosy log burners, complete with provided logs, kindling, and firelighters.

Sunflower, added in 2018, follows the footprint of Forget-me-Not but offers more space, including a sofa in its furnishings. Finally, Daisy joined them in October 2019 as a solar-powered Shepherd's Hut, similar to Poppy but with a single gas ring for heating water, alongside a double-ringed log burner suitable for cooking. Daisy also includes a cool box with freezer packs and access to an external kitchen with a double-ringed gas cooker.

Each hut provides a unique glamping experience with access to an individual outdoor area featuring a fire pit/BBQ, table, and chairs. Guests only need to bring towels, a torch, wellies, and slippers to complete their stay.

There are many beautiful walks within easy access of the Bluecaps Farm Glamping site. With numerous quiet country lanes and bridleways to discover, there are plenty of opportunities to immerse oneself in nature. For an added dimension, guests could even book a llama trek and enjoy the scenery with a furry friend by their side.
