Stone Pit Meadows in Sandhurst offers charming glamping accommodation in an idyllic rural setting. Situated in Kent, amidst a serene environment off a country lane, it's the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway.

The glamping site spans 40 acres of rolling vineyards, inviting guests to explore ancient woodlands, meandering vines, and wildflower meadows. For those seeking a refreshing dip, the swimming pond awaits. Stone Pit Meadows offers two custom-built shepherds huts and three bell tents, each meticulously furnished to ensure a memorable stay.

The Shepherds Huts, named Romney and Southdown, boast bespoke designs. They feature handmade kitchens equipped with a range of appliances and a breakfast bar. Each hut includes an en suite shower room with a flushing loo, stocked with luxury 100% natural and sustainable bath products by Bramley. A wood-panelled nook houses a full-size double bed and USB plugs. Outside, private gravel seating areas with tables, chairs, and firepits provide a perfect setting for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

The three spacious Bell Tents—Primrose, Bluebell, and Anemone—offer a tranquil countryside retreat. Furnished with real king-size beds, cabinets stocked with crockery, cutlery, and glassware, and cool boxes with ice packs, they ensure a comfortable stay. Each tent features a private seating area with a table and chairs, ideal for enjoying morning coffee. Deck chairs and fire pits with grills are also provided, along with electricity power points and water taps for added convenience.

Additionally, Stone Pit Meadows offers seven Summer Self-Pitches, available from 3rd July to 31st August 2024. Carved into a five-acre wildflower meadow, these pitches include both electric and non-electric options.

Guests can explore nearby attractions such as the town of Tenterden, just 7 miles away, which offers an array of pubs, Italian and Turkish restaurants, as well as shopping options like Waitrose and Tesco. For outdoor enthusiasts, Bodiam Boating Station provides water-based activities, while history buffs can explore the iconic Bodiam Castle.
