Aberafon Camping & Caravanning, Gyrn Goch, Caernarfon, Gwynedd
Aberafon Camping & Caravanning is situated in Gyrn Goch, on the Llyn peninsula, half way between Caernarfon and Pwllheli. Snowdonia and all other North Wales major attractions are close by. The campsite adjoins a private beach which is safe for bathing and there is access for boat launching.
There are 15 acres of valley grounds, 5 acres of which are sheltered, level pitches. The toilet block has showers and shaving points, the site has water points, electric hook ups and chemical disposal points. Laundry and dishwashing facilities are also available.
There is also a holiday cottage/bungalow available for rent on site.
The Llyn Peninsula and the Snowdonia National Park awaits explorers both new and old. The friendly locals have always met holiday makers with warmth and hospitality. The area is rich in history and entertaining events and has much to offer. As well as historical sites, North Wales has a large variety of attractions for the whole family; Farm Parks, Sheepdog Trials, Beer & Oyster Festivals and Adventure parks. Delicious food and drink can be found in both restaurants & country inns close by, or perhaps prepare a BBBQ with local ingredients from nearby farm shops.
