Nethercraig Holiday Park is set amidst the Angus Hills and heather clad moorland. This camping and caravanning park is in a peaceful location, ideal for those who want to escape from hectic day to day life. Further afield you can visit lots of great attractions in Perthshire.
As a family run company with many years of experience in the holiday park industry they understand the needs of families and couples who expect the highest of standards in today's modern holiday park. They offer exceptionally well spaced, hard standing and sheltered touring pitches, including the availability of some seasonal touring pitches. Tents are also welcome
They also offer a touch of luxury in the lodges, caravans, shepherd huts and pods. The lodges are tastefully furnished and come with luxurious facilities, including beautiful bedrooms, modern bathrooms, cosy lounges, well-equipped kitchens and a decking area with seating to admire the views from.
The caravans sleep 6 or 4 people and are equipped to a high standard. The charming shepherd huts each sleep 5 people in a double bed and triple sleeper bunk bed. They also have delightful glamping pods that sleep 4 in a double and 2 singles. Further facilities include a small fridge, a microwave, kettle, heater and TV.
Facilities include washrooms, including ladies, gents and disabled toilets and showers. There is also a shop for essentials and two children’s play areas. Onsite they also have a lovely private woodland to enjoy, perfect for walkers.
Nearby there is plenty on offer for the more energetic. There are excellent equestrian facilities including pony trekking, great fishing, off road driving, walking....and the busy cities of Perth, Dundee, Edinburgh and the town of St Andrews are easily accessible in under an hour. For those who fancy a go at skiing they are only 35 minutes from the Glenshee Ski Centre. The area is also great for cyclists.
Golfers will also find the site ideal as there are several golf courses located a very short distance from the park. Golf practice nets onsite. Nearby golf courses are Alyth Golf Course, Glen Isla Golf Course and Striathmore Golf Centre. Whether you fancy a visit to Glamis Castle or prefer to make a day of it visiting the Macbeth Experience, Shakespeare fanatics will never be bored.
