How Stean Gorge in Lofthouse offers pitches for campers and tourers in a picturesque setting. This site near is 22 miles from Harrogate North Yorkshire and is a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales.

Nestled in a stunning countryside location with its own gorge, you can savour stunning views of the Dales while staying here. They also offer plenty of space in the campsite area for playing games on the grassy slopes and having fun. A number of 8-berth troop tents are available if you don’t have your own tent.

At How Stean Gorge, they are well-equipped for many outdoor group activities – gorge walking, rock climbing, canyoning, caving, to name a few. The local area is perfect for walkers and cyclists, with many beautiful routes to enjoy. In nearby Pateley Bridge you can visit The Nidderdale Museum and the old picturesque High Street.
