This award-winning glamping retreat is exclusively for adults and does not accept pets because of free range alpacas and is a Wi-Fi-free zone, ensuring that it is your haven to switch off, retreat, relax and reconnect together with nature. The site is a designated local wildlife site set in 3 acres of wildflower meadow and woodland, with a well-stocked still-water fishing lake solely for your use during your stay This is your perfect comfy, off grid, eco getaway in glorious surroundings. If you love bird watching or nature photography you won’t be disappointed.

Poppy Yurt: This amazing structure is nestled in the wildflower meadow overlooking the lake, perfect for your romantic getaway. The yurt comes with a king size bed, armchairs, tea and coffee making facilities, solar lighting and solar fairy lights. A log-burning stove will keep you toasty and a single-ring gas burner and kettle are provided. Outside there is a bistro table and seats on the decking, ideal for a morning coffee as the sun is rising and the birds are singing.

Bluebell Lodge: Located in gorgeous woodland overlooking the lake, the beautifully equipped log cabin is traditionally insulated with solid timber and includes a toasty log-burning stove for those chilly days. The cabin comes with an eco-composting toilet and the use of separate showers and toilets. Facilities include a single ring gas burner, kettle and comfortable king-size bed with bed linen for a peaceful night’s sleep. A covered terrace with a double rocking chair is the perfect place to read your book whilst admiring the wildlife and view.

Rose Hollow: If you are looking for a quirky unique log cabin and slipping away from the pressures of modern living then look no further this gorgeous cabin. The cabin boasts spectacular views over the lake and is fully insulated with eco insulation and 3 double-glazed windows, perfect for the winter months. A lovely log burner is perfect for staying toasty in front of, with a free basket of logs provided. Facilities include a single ring gas burner and kettle, solar fairy lighting and a fabulous bespoke king bed for a restful night’s sleep. Outside there is a covered veranda with a rocking chair, offering a great spot to relax in the morning whilst savouring the view. A table and chairs are also provided for al fresco dining.

The Amenity Block: Called the chicken shed, which is a very short stroll away, houses the fully equipped kitchen, loos and showers, all powered by the an air source heat pump and solar panels. With plenty of undercover dining chairs and tables to choose from. There is a covered gazebo next to the BBQ. You can pre order some delicious homemade Grazeboxes from indulgent afternoon tea to a savoury treat delivered to you during your stay. You can even hire our vintage bikes and take a picnic.
