Otter Moss Glamping in Brampton offers wonderful glamping accommodation, nestled in a stunning countryside setting. Based in a scenic part of Cumbria, there is 1 pod, 1 shepherd’s hut, 1 cabin and 1 bell tent to choose from.
Pod: The stunning pod is set in 2/3 acres of glorious grounds, including a small lake and three islands. You even have your own boat to use onsite to complete the magical experience. The lake is also perfect for paddle boating and a range of other water-based activities. The bell tent and shepherds hut also share the site with the pod.
The pod comes with a range of excellent facilities to make your stay as relaxing as possible, including 1 double, two singles, a double ring gas stove with two canisters provided, pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils, tea, coffee and sugar, plus 4 camping chairs and boules. Low volt electricity and a small heater, toaster and kettle are also provided. Outside there is a fire pit to snuggle around whilst savouring the amazing surroundings.
Shepherds Hut: This beautifully handcrafted hut is perfect for a romantic getaway. The stylish hut comes with a toasty wood burner, en suite bedroom, comfy bedding and an oil-fired heater. Further facilities include proper size fridge, kettle, toaster and 2 ring gas stove plus utensils and crockery and much more. You might even seen the odd resident red deer whilst dining al fresco in the afternoon sun.
Bell Tent: This luxurious 6 metre is ideal for the ultimate country retreat. Inside the tent, there is a super king bed (bedding and towels provided ), a small wood burner (wood not provided), cupboard space, a double ring camping stove with 2 bottles of gas provided, stove top kettle , pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils and a stove top kettle, plus two camping chairs. Outside there is a fire pit to huddle around whilst gazing at the starry night sky. The tent shares a washroom with the pod.
Cabin: This outstanding cabin is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life, based in the Eden Valley on our private estate. This gorgeous retreat is a haven for nature lovers and comes with 1 luxurious king-size bed, microwave, a two-ring gas stove with 1 gas canister provided, brazier/BBQ, kettle, fridge and electricity, plus a shed converted into a fully functional washroom which is not shared with any other guests.
A charming pub is only 2 miles away, whilst the area also has lots of scenic walking and cycling rights. Hadrian’s wall is right on our doorstep and Ullswater is just 40 minutes away.
