EcoPod Holidays offers a unique glamping experience at a new site in Staffordshire. It is only 3 miles from Alton Towers and just 5 miles from the historic market town of Ashbourne.
Nestled in the stunning Staffordshire countryside, the EcoPods provide the ideal eco-glamping getaway for either couples or families. The cabins themselves provide a secluded, warm and comfortable space to stay where you can relax, cook a meal and toast yourself around the wood burning stove after an enjoyable day out.
Each Pod has been lovingly handmade with natural materials sourced locally from the surrounding landscape. The concept behind the EcoPods is to provide a cosy, warm and sustainable living space made from 50% waste materials as a superior alternative to modern buildings. They provide all the comforts of home as well as immediate access to the beautiful countryside.
The pods are designed with the full scope of all the English seasons in mind and there is no better stage for each to be showcased than the gorgeous Staffordshire countryside. From wildflower meadows in the spring to crimson theatres of colour in the autumn, all of this is quite literally on the Eco Pods doorstep.
There are 5 eco pods available. They’re superbly equipped inside and provide a brilliant base for exploring all the fabulous area has to offer. Electricity is available in each pod. All the pods come with comfy beds, a fully equipped mini kitchen, compost loo and outdoor seating for al fresco dining whilst savouring the views.
The Mountain Ash Eco Pod comes with a toasty wood burner and The Holly Pod is great for romantic getaway for 2. The Willow Pod, The Great Oak Pod, and The Hazelwood Pod are perfect for families, with each sleeping 2 adults and 2 children.
This fantastic ecopod site is available for group bookings. A variety of entertainment activities available on request.
