Dol-Llys Caravan & Camping in Llanidloes is a family-run site set in the stunning Mid Wales countryside. Our campsite in Powys is nestled between the Oak woodland and the upper reaches of the majestic River Severn, great for a tranquil holiday. The historic market town of Llanidloes is just 1 mile away and further afield there are lots of excellent attractions to visit.
Our scenic site offers an amazing setting for tourers and campers looking for somewhere special to stay. Tucked away by the River Severn is the large camping area which is level and peaceful. You can pitch near the facilities or camp down by the river and bushes if you fancy more privacy.
A separate area houses the caravan pitches which have electric hookups and hardstanding around the outside of the field. Near the facilities for tents and motorhomes. electric is also available. Facilities include:
Washing up facilities.
Toilet & Electric Showers (takes 20p coins).
Camper's Kitchen/Lounge for walkers and bikers (fridge, kettle & microwave).
Free Wifi in Camper's Kitchen area.
Ice blocks can be frozen.

Free fishing is available on-site (Trout & Grayling).
Children's Play Area.
Large Area for ball games.
We are set in the heart of Mid Wales, making us a great base for exploring the area. You can play around at St Idloes Golf Club or visit the wonderful Llyn Clywedog, a human-made reservoir formed by the construction of the Clywedog Dam. Enjoy magical walks along the Elan Valley and take in the picturesque scenery.
