St Helens Caravan & Camping Park is a family-friendly park situated at Wykeham, less than a mile from North Yorkshire Water Park, and just a short drive from Scarborough and the magnificent North Yorkshire coastline. There is a bus stop directly outside of the park.
Our large 36-acre caravan and camping site at St Helens in the Park has 100 touring pitches – most of which are hardstanding – including 30 adult-only pitches in a quiet zone. The site is divided into terraces with tree screening creating smaller, more private areas – a feature that enables different areas of the park to vary in character and outlook. Super pitches for those who want more of a relaxing holiday are now available! Whether you are looking to be in our adult's quiet area or looking to bring along children we have a super pitch for you.
Camping pods provide greater security than a tent as well as being warm in the winter months and cool in the summer due to the fantastic insulation. Each pod has a window and locking French doors for security and to give ventilation in the pod in the hotter summer months. Each camping pod sleeps 2 adults and 2 children – keeping you warm and dry. No need to get wet putting up or taking down your tent. Just bring all of your camping and sleeping equipment with you but leave the tent at home.
Scarborough is an extremely popular holiday destination and was Britain’s first seaside resort. Scarborough has been welcoming visitors for over 360 years. There is so much to see and do in and around Scarborough and North Yorkshire. There are two wonderful, safe sandy beaches, beautiful gardens, boating lakes, mile upon mile of coastal paths for walkers, cycle routes, forest trails, watersports, sea fishing trips…. the list is endless! Everyone is catered for in Scarborough from the many activities that can be enjoyed to the world-famous Stephen Joseph Theatre and the areas numerous restaurants.
St Helens is within walking distance of the local pub and restaurant serving bar meals, with a Sunday carvery and mid-week specials such as steak night and curry night. We have our own licenced cafe and shop/Off-Licence selling basic provisions and there is a village tea room and gallery opposite the caravan park.
