Herston Caravan & Camp Site offers excellent family camping and caravanning in the beautiful Dorset countryside, but it is also close to beaches and the bustling town of Swanage. The nearby sandy beaches are accessible by foot (15 minutes) car (5 minutes) and train.
Our log cabins, set in the Isle of Purbeck at the gateway to the Jurassic Coast, Dorset, are perfect for a self-catering holiday, rain or shine, summer or winter. The romantic log cabins make a welcome change from the usual holiday cottage, bed & breakfast or camping trip. Heated throughout the year with full self-catering facilities, our luxury log cabins offer a camping style holiday, with four-star hotel accommodation. There are hot tubs in the log cabins and park lodges. We also have a range of lodges available which are beautifully furnished. They all come with well-equipped kitchens, cosy living rooms and comfortable bedrooms.
The camping ground is level and safe for children. The caravan and motor home pitches are hard standing and fully serviced to include, electric hook up, cold drinking water and drainage. The pitches will accommodate large mobile homes, such as Winnebago and single and double axle touring caravans.
You can choose from three fields. Sea View Field is close to all the facilities and recommended for families and Spear Point Field is more secluded and spacious. First Field comes with electrical hook up points and water points.
Excellent facilities include a bar and outdoor seating area, show bar, shop, shower and toilets & playground.
