Lower Micklin Touring Park just outside of Alton offers pitches for camping, touring and motorhomes with glorious views of rolling countryside. Located near Denstone in Staffordshire, they are within easy reach of Alton Towers, the Peak District, the Staffordshire Way and the world-famous Potteries.

Their charming and peaceful touring park has 30 well-spaced pitches including 17 hard standing, 4 supergrass and 9 grass pitches. All the pitches come with electric hookups and enjoy incredible views over the Churnet Valley. Excellent facilities on-site include 10 Super hardstanding pitches with individual water, waste and 16 amp electric hook up, 7 standard hard standing pitches with individual drainage and 16amp EHU, 4 super grass pitches with 16amp EHU suitable for larger tents, 9 grass pitches with 5amp EHU, a chemical disposal point, 3 water taps, motor home accessible wastewater point, heated toilet and shower facilities, free hot water, family bathroom with toilet, shower, basin and baby changing unit, undercover washing-up sinks with hot water, play area with slide, swings and climbing wall, separate ball field with goal posts & rubbish and recycling facilities.

We are ideally located for a fun day out at Alton Towers which is only 2 miles away. Lots of great walking and cycling routes are available from the gate and the Peak District National Park is only 20 minutes away. Great attractions in the local area include Wootton Lodge, Trentham Estate, Biddulph Grange Garden, The Roaches & Thor's Cave.
